  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about halfway.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, glaze the donuts with a simple icing made from powdered sugar and milk.
  • These donuts can also be topped with a sprinkle of powdered sugar before serving.
