Beef Stuffed Shells Pasta: A Delicious and Easy Recipe

A satisfying dish that combines pasta shells with a hearty beef filling for a comforting meal.

  • 12 ounces jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, combine cooked beef, ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Fill each pasta shell with the beef mixture.
  6. Spread half of the marinara sauce in a baking dish. Place the filled shells on top, then spread the remaining marinara sauce over the shells.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is golden.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

  • For added flavor, consider adding chopped fresh herbs such as basil or parsley.
  • Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for the beef.
