  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
  6. Pour batter over the blueberries in the pan.
