  • 3 pounds beef short ribs
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
  3. Place short ribs in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Cover the dish with foil and roast in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
  5. After 3 hours, remove the foil and increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Roast for an additional 30 minutes, basting occasionally.
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with sliced green onions.

Notes

  • For best flavor, marinate the ribs overnight.
  • Serve with steamed rice or noodles to soak up the sauce.
