Chewy Maple Cinnamon Cookies with White Chocolate

Deliciously chewy cookies infused with maple and cinnamon, complemented by rich white chocolate.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, and maple syrup, stirring until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in the white chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • These cookies freeze well; store them in an airtight container.
  • For added flavor, sprinkle a little sea salt on top before baking.
