  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a saucepan, combine milk, cream, and half of the sugar. Heat gently until sugar dissolves.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, remaining sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  4. Slowly add the warm milk mixture to the egg mixture, whisking constantly.
  5. Pour the custard filling into the pie crust.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  7. Allow to cool, then refrigerate before serving.
