  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  7. Sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar over the batter.
  8. Add the remaining batter and swirl together with a knife.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
