  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. Add melted butter to the mashed bananas and mix well.
  4. Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
  5. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  6. Gradually add the flour until just incorporated.
  7. In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Pour half of the banana batter into a greased loaf pan.
  9. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
  10. Add the remaining banana batter, then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
  11. Bake for about 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Let it cool before slicing.

Notes

  • For enhanced flavor, add nuts or chocolate chips.
  • Make sure bananas are very ripe for the best sweetness.
