- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
- Add melted butter to the mashed bananas and mix well.
- Stir in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt.
- Gradually add the flour until just incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Pour half of the banana batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the batter.
- Add the remaining banana batter, then sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Bake for about 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing.
