- 1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
- Cook the rigatoni in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
