Crispy Cilantro Lime Chicken Sandwich (Air-Fried or Oven Baked)

A delectable Crispy Cilantro Lime Chicken Sandwich that can be easily made in an air fryer or oven, offering a burst of flavor with every bite.

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 sandwich buns
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken breasts in lime juice, cilantro, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 380°F (193°C) or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket or on a baking sheet and cook for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
  4. Meanwhile, toast the sandwich buns until golden brown.
  5. Once the chicken is done, slice it and assemble the sandwiches with lettuce and tomatoes on the buns.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, increase the cooking time by a few minutes.
  • Substitute lemon juice for lime juice if preferred.
