Easy Gingerbread Tiramisu

A delightful twist on a classic dessert, this Easy Gingerbread Tiramisu combines the flavors of gingerbread with the creamy textures of traditional tiramisu, perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 12 gingerbread cookies
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix strong brewed coffee, sugar, and vanilla extract until sugar is dissolved.
  2. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Fold in mascarpone cheese, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg gently.
  4. Dip gingerbread cookies in the coffee mixture and layer them in a serving dish.
  5. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the cookies.
  6. Add another layer of dipped cookies and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  8. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

  • For a stronger coffee flavor, use espresso instead.
  • Feel free to add whipped cream on top for extra texture.
