  • 1/2 cup butterscotch sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk and cream soda.
  6. Stir in the butterscotch sauce and vanilla extract.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
