Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente.
  2. Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing until the garlic is golden but not burned.
  4. Drain the spaghetti and add it to the skillet, tossing to coat.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in basil and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Season with salt to taste and serve immediately.
