Delicious and healthy banana oatmeal bars that are perfect for snacking.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts or chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine the mashed bananas, oats, almond milk, honey, and vanilla.
  3. Mix in baking powder, cinnamon, and salt until well blended.
  4. If desired, fold in nuts or chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden.
  7. Allow to cool, then cut into bars and serve.
