Shrimp and Corn Chowder: A Hearty, Flavorful Delight

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups corn, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup diced potatoes
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add turkey bacon and cook until crispy.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  3. Stir in potatoes and corn, cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Add shrimp and heavy cream, stir and cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, serve hot.
