  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup green onions, sliced

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  2. In the slow cooker, layer the diced potatoes, cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until potatoes are tender.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the green onions and half of the cheddar cheese. Cover and allow to melt.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with remaining cheese.
