- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup green onions, sliced
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
- In the slow cooker, layer the diced potatoes, cooked beef, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until potatoes are tender.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the green onions and half of the cheddar cheese. Cover and allow to melt.
- Serve hot, garnished with remaining cheese.
