Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine sourdough discard, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 15 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add warm water, flour, and salt to the mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Roll out the dough and cut it into squares. Brush with melted butter, garlic, and parsley.
  6. Stack the squares in a loaf pan and let rise for 30 minutes.
