Stuffed Italian Meatloaf

A delicious and unique take on traditional meatloaf that incorporates a flavorful stuffing of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, turkey bacon, chicken ham, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. Spread the marinara sauce on top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add shredded mozzarella cheese on top during the last 10 minutes of baking.
  • Serve with a side of pasta and vegetables.
