2 cups sliced strawberries
1 box strawberry cake mix
1 cup cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries with sugar and set aside.
In another bowl, beat the cream cheese with sugar until smooth and creamy.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until just combined.
Spread half of the cake batter into a greased baking dish.
Layer the strawberries over the batter, followed by spooning the cream cheese mixture.
Top with the remaining cake batter, spreading it evenly.
Bake for about 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
